After the call Heartbroken!!!!!(Blog #2)

Yesterday I couldn't write anything, I was so heartbroken and stressed. I had applied online to two of the Charities here for help on April 1st. The thing about this is that the applications only open for a certain day and time to take in a certain number then would close soon after it. Since I applied on Monday, I gave them 48 hours for a callback because that's what one of the applications had said. After 48 hours, however, after those 48 hours came a holiday and then the weekend. Finally, I called them on Saturday since I still need to pay rent to find out what's going on.

The guys that attended the call told me to call back on Sunday from 7:30am-3:30pm and a different number, which is a working day in UAE. I called the one that had answered to call on Saturday, only to find out that the applications for that office haven't been opened yet and they take two freaken weeks to answer back...TWO WEEKS!!!!

I called the main number once more to find out about the application that I had filled out, and this time he gave me another number. I called that number only to find out that the operator spoke ONLY ARABIC.... come on now, just what I needed!!!

The other Charity office didn't even bother to answer their phone.

So yeah, I was pissed, heartbroken and annoyed. Besides all that, my landlord is after me for the rent. The dude that works for my landlord as a maintenance guy is a total perverted bastard. He may seem nice and all.... will also say very respectable things, but underneath all that mask is a very ugly face. He will try to help you, but in return, he will talk always talk about sex, which females are cheating on their husband or are a prostitute....  something that is none of my business or connection to me. Yes, I told him many times that I don't care about those things, and not to talk to me about it but his answer is the same as always, " You are my sister, my friend so of course I'll share everything with you as you should share with me too." ( EWWWW) The only solution to this issue that I found is to keep my eldest son around. It does help but, my son, not really understanding the depths of the situation gets bored easily and fiddles around and causes enough noise that might disturb our other neighbors...I always talk to him outside our room, never let him inside.

This dude might be helpful and better than others that I have met but still a total sicko. According to him, the neighbors around me are all in the sex business, even though they are family people. Anyways, enough about this dude, I just felt depressed after those calls that I just slumped around my room doing laundry (by hand, since I don't have a washing machine), or sleeping.

Since the room next to us is empty, the pervert and the landlord's son were doing maintenance of it. Our room also has a few big issues that need to be fixed, so reminded them about that plus Ajman is so dirty that it's full of mosquitoes and bed bugs. Our landlord noticed my struggle with it that he offered to buy us the power to kill them and also a new mattress. Sweet right? Yeah well, that was a week ago.  I even reminded them about it, but they " forgot"... yeah, right and I forgot to give rent.

That's how that day went, until around 7pm when we fell asleep, till like 12 midnight. and beginning our next day with the cooking and feeding kids and then cleaning. Around 6am, when everything is completed we just sit back and watch movies on the 24 inch TV that I bought from dubizzle for only a hundred AED... pretty good deal.

We used to have two nice big screen TVs. One TV we had bought from DG for like 1,000 AED, and there one was from the furniture that we left behind at that Arabic guy's apartment. My wonderful dear husband made me give away the TV that we had bought from DG for free to the guy that he knew...better than others. The other and my favorite TV had its screen broken by the guys who were moving our stuff to this room. Of, course they didn't accept it, but who would accept their mistake in this country?

So, yeah that's what we basically do most of the days. The rest of the story I'll do it a little later since I already babbled too much.

1st Blog....EVER!!

So yeah, I'm new to all this...and wanted to do a blog a looooong while back, but never really had my mind set to it. Many because of the responsibilities of this tangled poop we call life..... please DO NOT IMAGINE IT! ( my words are like this, so please get used to it.) Anyways, lemme introduce myself, my name is Rejected Angel.... yes some people have been copying my name.... even though they don't understand the meaning of itπŸ˜’. I have six wonderful yet annoying kids.... yep half a dozen. I am 34 yrs old.... yep that's old 😭 my oldest child is my 14 yrs old son, then my oldest 12 yrs old daughter, followed by the eldest of the mighty naughty girls team 9 yrs old, and 7 yrs old, then my innocent 6 yrs old son, and last but not least, the last member of the MNG team 22 months.

My every day is a real strange struggle. I came to the UAE four years ago, since this is known to be the city of riches. I just wanted to make enough money to buy a house, a family van and pay off debts so I can give my kids a normal life.... which is like around 300k USD. Sadly, I didn't know that I would be stuck here worst than being stuck in quicksand.

The people that we met here were nothing like the people that we were used to. Instead of being fair and working as a team to make big money, they were deceiving, selfish and low minded. I am not being judgemental here, because of not meeting one person that was honest.

After 2 and a half years of nothing working, we finally decided to pack up and leave. And even though we had most things packed, we made one last attempt to make some money. This time, it was a totally different person.... an Arab. He and his partner owned a restaurant, which wasn't going well and we had the best ideas and methods to fix that, mainly adding me to the restaurant partnership so they could a loan. These Arabs even gave us enough money to pay the monthly bills and for food, until the project was completed. It had us hooked, we thought that these guys were really sincere. They even had let us borrow their car. Then after 5 months of nothing happening, we started to get a little annoyed that, as planned nothing was happening. It was worrying us, that if things didn't work out as planned we would be really stuck. In a few months, my husband's visa was going to expire and, we didn't have enough money to renew it.

The behavior of Arab partners started to change. They answered the phone whenever they felt like it.
If we went to the restaurant, we had to wait for hours for them to give us time. That too didn't go well either, because they stopped giving us money as they had promised. Soon the rent went behinds months and to top it all of we saw a dead guy on the garage rooftop. That just made me so sick that I HAD to move. there was no way I could stay there. So we had argued with the guys to find an apartment for us since they had promised it...

Finally, after two months or so we went to the new apartment. It was used by the partners and their two employees. They had moved out just hours before. Most of the furniture was still there and it was decent enough to live. which was funny because the A/C wasn't working at all and before we could ask about it, we received the eviction notice on the door, stating that the apartment hadn't been paid rent for months. When we asked the partners they said, "it's ok, nothing will happen." Then we found out that the car we had been using was stolen. The car had belonged to a rental company and the registration had been expired a year back. We thank GOD that we hadn't gotten into any trouble yet.

Only a month left before my husband's visa would expire, we went to the restaurant to talk about that. Their answer baffled us and we finally understood that this whole thing was a trap. The whole idea was for my husband to go to jail while I had to do WHATEVER they had asked for.

Ok, I am getting stressed and tired of remembering this whole thing and typing it down all the while looking after my kids too... so the rest will continue later.

I had to make a few phone calls for some financial help here.... which didn't go well as I think because no one called back as they had said and since today is Saturday they are closed.... so I am upset since I do have to pay rent and need money for food....I tried to sell my last golden chain which would give me 2400AED, but without my passport, no one can buy it..... AHHHHHHHH...... anyways....

Stay safe and always think about your kids( future ones too)
